One of a kind, photographic artwork created through digital manipulation. Printed on high-quality acid-free paper using archival pigments. Single print, no others will be made. 36 X 27 inches with an additional 3” white border. Complete dimensions are 42 X 33 inches. Signed and dated, with a print-number (1/1), on the border.
THE STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE:
Chicago’s downtown was the original inspiration for the New City collection, a playful reimagining of urban architecture, verticality, and density. “Inake” started as a snapshot of the view south from the Van Buren Street bridge over the Chicago river. The realistic photo was intentionally distorted and recolored using several digital applications, employed randomly until I arrived at a result I liked.
